Dr Andrea
Principal Dentist
Born in Auckland, and relocating in 1992 to Robina, Andrea is very well established on the Gold Coast. Graduating in 2012, she has worked at Murwillumbah, Pacific Pines and Mudgeeraba before setting up Fresh Family Dental with her husband in 2020. Andrea and Ben have two young sons who adore football and other sports, so much of her down time is taken up with cheering on the sideline. Her husband Ben, coaches semi-professional league, and his passion for this has extended for more than 27 years in the coaching space.
Andrea takes pride in settling dental anxiety and using a variety of techniques to assist even the most worried patient to get through their treatment. She loves educating people in their dental health, singing along poorly to the radio while she works, and listening to live music.
Dr Rachel
Dentist
Rachel is our fabulous Irish dentist who loves Golf and has made the GC her home. Recently married to Dave, Rachel has a passion for orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. When she isn’t in the surgery, Rachel is either on the Golf course, eating out, or doing pilates to stay fit.
Dr Turna
Dentist
Growing up in Rockhampton, QLD, Turna loved the charm of small-town life. This love for community led her to study dentistry at JCU in Cairns – a tropical paradise where learning felt like a vacation! After graduation, she spent six years giving back to her hometown, providing dental care to the community she grew up in.
Three years ago, love brought her to these sunny shores. Now happily married to her husband Prit, she hopes to make the Coast her forever home.
At Fresh Family Dental, Turna isn't just a dentist, she's part of the family. Her passion lies in helping patients overcome anxiety and achieve their dream smiles.
When Turna isn’t in the office you’ll find her at the gym with her husband, going to dance classes, catching up with family and friends in Brisbane, soaking up the sun on the beach and exploring Gold Coast’s best coffee spots.
Dr Arun
Orthodontist
Dr Arun and his lovely wife Varsha have been working with us for over a year now.
They are based on the Sunshine Coast, but travel to treat our patients.
Dr. Arun is a board certified orthodontist who has dedicated his life to perfecting smiles and bites in adults and children, and who has a passion for evidence based treatment and ethical care of all his patients..
Carmen
Front Office Coordinator
Carmen is our main receptionist and all around superstar. She has been married to Ali for 24 years and has 2 adult children, Georgia (our dental assistant) and Jack. She has 3 gorgeous pets, Louis, and Indie. Carmen and her family moved from NZ to Australia 21 years ago and she is always seeking a new thrill. She loves going to the gym, playing social tennis and watching Motorsport – and certainly doesn’t mind a nice glass of rose’
Cheryl
Front Office Coordinator
Cheryl is one of our beautiful reception staff. She is married to Steve and has two adult children. Her favourite foods are chocolate and coffee and she loves reading true crime. If you find Cheryl travelling, she will be where the sun is shining as she loves warm travel destinations.
Varsha
Front Office Coordinator Orthodontics
Varsha is his fantastic and very talented wife, who works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that Dr Aruns patients are looked after with the personal touch
Georgia
Dental Assistant
This is Georgia. She is one of our longest serving staff members, being with us from the day we opened our front door for the first time. She loves going to the gym and spending time on the water with a Jetski or paddleboard. She loves spending time with her long term partner, Gert, and her family and friends.
Georgia is most notorious around the clinic for always running into things!
Grace
Dental Assistant
Grace, our youngest dental assistant grew up locally on the Gold Coast and went to St Michael college.
She was uncertain of what direction she wanted to take after Grade 12, so accidentally found her way to our clinic where she is constantly amazed every day by what we can do in a dental appointment.
She is learning to love the dental lifestyle and the constant learning that the environment brings.
She is kind, sweet, extremely good at comforting nervous patients, and a very hard worker.
When she isn’t at work, Grace loves to hang out at the beach, go camping and spend time with her dog Pearl.
Connor
Dentist
Connor is our newest Canadian dentist.
He hails from a small town named Medicine Hat, and came to our shores in 2020 (mid-pandemic!!) alone, to study Dentistry at Griffith University.
He is already a firm member of the team, bringing us in cakes and coffee, and has bonded with all of us with inappropriate humour.
Dr Connor loves all facets of general dentistry and is a gentle and caring person who just wants the best for his patients.
Camila
Dental Nurse
Camila is a fantastically experienced dental nurse. She is trained as a dentist in Argentina, so she is often seen reading the minds of the dentists and handing them instruments before they ask.
She speaks Spanish and Italian which is a great comfort to tourists and those from Europe and South America who need treatment and want detailed information and explanation.
Camila is a strong team member who is very caring and funny.
When not at Fresh, she is at the beach, the beach or the beach. She cannot get enough of our wonderful coastline!
